Last blogged @ 3:48 PM " Smells sooooo goood " Yum yum. I wish you readers could smell the brownie i baked that's just fresh out of the oven! Mmmmm, delicious! Well, i just wanted to accomplish another simple thing before i turn 19 tomorrow. Hmm, YESSAH! A year to 20! Isn't that great... i hope my last year being a teen would be fruitful. Once my brownie's settled, i shall post a picture of it up here, before 12 midnight! Well, what else! Oh yes, i will be reviewing my visit to Maybank to open my account, yesterday. Before everything, i wanna exclaim and let the whole world hear that.... i think that Maybank is the best bank to service me by far! Honestly, from deep within my heart and soul. It's so efficient - even the moment i stepped in! Efficient service, and efficient products. God, you know how some other banks actually give you a device for the pin and also allow you to apply for internet banking? Well, guess what... obviously Maybank does it to! But what's the huge difference, that makes me choose Maybank over others? The difference that i didn't know about even before i applied for it? Well, before that lemme clarify why i was gonna open an account from Maybank. 1) Shuttling to and fro Malaysia and Indonesia for shoots are very inconvenient. Even while i was in Hong Kong, it was damn inconvenient that i only had a "home" bank atmcard/ account. It was freaking annoying. Duh, malaysia is in no comparison with singapore when it comes to their size. It's so difficult to locate the bank i used to "worship", simply cuz that was the only bank that would relate to me at 18 years old. Thus, i decided to apply for Maybank. 2) Maybank is right beside my house! And ATMs are everywhere around the world. I love it! So let's go to what made me so pleased with my decision with opening an account with maybank! Honestly it was the best day of being 18, and what more turning 19 in the next two days... i even told my dad, opening this account is the best "business/ monetary based" decision i've made by far! - I opened a savings account - Then i didn't even have to enquire about internet banking and the password-devices. Knowing me as a model, the ladies there immediately got everything ready and told me that they have even applied for internet banking for me! Look at how nice they were! Awesome people. They know that if i don't have internet banking i'll be in so much inconvenience as i'm shuttling to and fro places! - Then they asked so promptly, if i had an account that i can put savings into and reap benefits after a few years. I said yeah, but it never worked out with the other bank. They even CLOSED my account, okay! Goodness! I complained and TILL TODAY THEY HAVENT REPLIED! Sigh, some banks just think that only caz they service the norm and the majority, they can put their services to mainstream and think they rule this place. Oh well. Back to my story. I decided to open their MonthlySAVINGS account where i just have to put 100 bucks inside each month, and i can even take out 600 a year (in case of emergency... or if u need to do emergency retail therapy. right girlies?) hehehe. and what more, you'll be reaping almost 40000 bucks after 25 years of 100 bucks deposits for 25 years. lets see... if u deposit 100bucks for 25 years... u should be withdrawing only 15000 (if you do take 600 out each year) & if u dont, that'd be 30000! But look what Maybank is reaping for me! Over 40000 bucks! Dang! That's awesome ain't it! - HERE'S THE AWESOME THING. That account is linked to Prudential's insurance coverage. I've been dying to try prudential. Was waiting till i turn 19! And yet, Maybank has granted all my wishes days before my birthday! Man... you think it's over! no, not yet. Hmmm you remember the password retriever device i was telling you about? Yeah, the one that almost every other bank uses now. What's the difference! I GOT IT ON THE SPOT! HELL YEAH! ON THE SPOT. No need to wait for a week... which in the end adds up to a month! I got it on the spot! Thank you maybank! I'm no patient person! I got the device on the spot people! Look at their efficiency! AND HELL NO. I DID NOT FORGET TO TELL YOU! Wanna see the passbook? Here you go!  GOLD! Man, doesn't it just make you feel like royalty? And the front looks pretty much royal to me! And the feel is different from other PAPER FRONT PASSBOOKS. Sigh, low standard. And here's the welcome pack. It's so professional and looks perfect at the same time!  GOSH! I CAN'T WAIT TO MAKE MY FIRST BANK TRANSFER TO SEE HOW MY DEVICE WORKS!!! And, they gave me a gorgeous and fierce Maybank mug to go along.. as a souvenir. To the two ladies and other officers at Maybank Bukit Timah, who serviced my needs at your bank yesterday. Thank you so much! You are the impressions that will stay with me, and always reminding me that Maybank is the best i've had so far! Last blogged @ 6:37 PM " Thank God it's all over " Sometimes i just gotta realize how lucky i am, even though at times i just love ta say i'm the most unfortunate person on earth - but there's no evidence of that, sigh. *laughs* So, now everything is over and i don't have to go through any court shits. Thank God. So anyway, i went to catch 'A Christmas Carol' at Cineleisure yesterday. Trailer here! Well, i have ta say that i'm utterly disappointed. I expected it to be more exciting. Yes yes, it was exciting but most of the time it was boring and quiet. More scary than exciting and adventurous. Hmm, but one good point is that when it's funny we really laugh our heads off. When we're not laughing, we're sleeping. For the first time, i slept in the cinema. Pathetic, i know right. Sigh, just disappointed at how the 'very anticipated movie' turned out. Rest assured, there are many important and useful lesson that should be learnt from 'A Christmas Carol'. Though boring and not as expected, it's not the worst movie i've watched till date... i think! I didn't even have the mood to shop after that, thus i made my way straight home. See how a boring movie can spoil your day? *sigh* OH! But i did shop before that, hehe. Thinking i'd be freezing in the cinema, just 10 minutes before the movie started... i ran over to Flash 'n Splash @ Heeren! Guess what i got? RIPCURL HOODIE! Yahhhoooooo! I swear it's wicked baby! & it's soooo comfy! Have fun admiring it! :P  So, i slept at approximately 4am. Had high fever and body-aches, mom and dad had to wake me up at 7 in the morning today! So that's just about 3 hours of sleep. Eve's school orientation is today, so we drove over to CHIJ and got the uniform, books and da di da di da. After which, we headed back home and off to Orchard. First to the Environment Building to clear off the helluva shit i was in, and then off to Starbucks with my lil' girl. Well yeah, didn't shop today. But here's a pretty pic with my lil' girl!  After that, straight home. HAH, i know. Boring day. But i have a great excuse for not going shopping! Hehehe, i'm really sick. Oh and i fainted twice yesterday! Readers, please please please drink LOTSSSSS of water!!!!!!!!! My lips are bleeding and cracking. I think you can see from the picture with the lil' one above... my lower lips are a lil' sore. Sobs, i swear it hurts :(! And i have another surprise! Guess what i got just now even though i didn't do any proper retail therapy!  HAHAHA! I KNOW RIGHT? I said it's cheesy. I think it still is. I have yet to read it nor watch it. I still don't want to watch it. I guess i'll just read it up and see how it goes. Let's just wait for one more person to really coax me to watch it and then maybe.... i would! :P till then, xoxo Zy

Last blogged @ 9:14 PM " When life gets hard "  What do you do when life gets hard? Do you rant about how hard it is, or do you sit at the corner and think about how good life is compared to others in the world and appreciate what you've got? At times, i feel like i'm too fortunate to actually grumble about how bad life is. One thing for sure, everyone makes mistakes. That's when your life gets hard. So, stay outta trouble. Don't make the same mistakes time and again. Mistakes = lesson to be learnt. That's what my dearest daddy always tells me, even just 5 seconds ago. & that made me realize, how lucky i am. In my situation, i honestly... have made too many mistakes in life. Most, repeated. To have been forgiven all my life, it's safe to say i am really fortunate. There are parents who disown. But not mine. There are parents who won't shed a tear caz' they're disappointed at what we've done. But not mine - they are the kinds who share the same feelings as me. Thank God. I've decided that this time it's once and for all, now or never. I've made a pact to know what the people who matter to me, don't like about me. Don't dare anyone mention the phrase "How can someone who loves you not like something about you? They can't accept you?"... Hmm, i honestly think that is utter bullshit people. The more the person matters, the more you matter to him. And the more you matter, the more he knows your flaws - more than you know your own flaws. How do you become a better person, without knowing what is going wrong and where it's going wrong? So why not.... you, my dearest reader try this too. No one is perfect, or close to it... in any other person's eyes. But to me, as long as you know you're at your best.. you are the definition of your perfect self.
It can be as simple as this!

That term doesn't work with me anymore, not quite sure if it really did anyway. Well, doesn't matter does it. Though, i am a believer of something called "love". & to me, if there is love... there will be people who tend to matter to you more than just any other person(s). By that time, there's no need for "bestfriends". There's a need for love, and bonding. That's just what i believe in, caz' that's what works for me. "If he is meant to be around you, and he leaves - he will make his way back. If he does not make his way back, it simply means one thing - he was never meant to be with you." Something i learnt and applied to life. It works - no point dwelling on anything that happened in the past, even if it's just one day. Or a second ago - it's still the past. Hmm, so i guess that's the most i should share for now, even though i guess it's quite a whole load.
